The Wayne County Film Initiative was launched in 2008 to assist and attract incoming production companies and independent producers with all of their project needs. We are able to help facilitate anything from office and hotel space to location scouting and permitting as well as crew and vendor placement. We can even help you find something fun and exciting to do while you’re in town— just let us know what you’re interested in! Our hope is to leverage our resources and highlight all that we, as the largest County in the state of Michigan, have to offer the film industry. We are a "one-stop shop" for any and all filming needs. Our goal is to diversify our economy, promote growth, and create jobs in this region.
